Affiliated Managers Group (AMG) Any list of Kingston/Sword & Spoon institutional partners should start and finish with the most important partnership of all – AMG, which we have been honored to be associated with for nearly 17 years. We are very grateful for our partnership and friendship with Sean Healey and the team he has assembled there, which has made possible so many of the Sword & Spoon efforts.

The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) works to preserve and strengthen the foundations of a free society by conducting original research on the world economy, U.S. foreign policy and international security, and domestic political and social issues. AEI is home to some of America’s most renowned economists, legal scholars, political and social scientists, and foreign policy specialists. John Kingston serves on the AEI National Council.

Art House America is the result of the vision of Sword & Spoon partners Andi Ashworth and Charlie Peacock (Ashworth), who longed to promote creativity for the common good, and the nurture of artists and anyone looking to explore an artful, faithful life. The Ashworths and Art House America have hosted and inspired thousands of students, artists, writers, academics, theologians, cultural investors, and leaders in the entertainment industry.

Bethel AME and its pastors, the Reverends Ray Hammond and Gloria White-Hammond, have been initiating and inspiring extraordinary work in Boston and beyond for 25 years. The Hammonds (Sword & Spoon partners), Bethel AME, and the church’s related social service agency, Bethel Institute for Social Justice provide social services and educational partnerships for more than 2,300 high-risk children and families in Boston inner-city neighborhoods.

Boot Campaign is dedicated to promoting patriotism for America and our military community, raising awareness of the unique challenges service members face during and post-service, and providing assistance to military personnel, past and present, and their families.

Cambridge Roundtable engages professors from Harvard, MIT, and universities across the Boston area in roundtable faculty seminar dinner discussions, fostering dialogue that explores the intersection of contemporary academic and Christian thought on issues related to science and religion.

Christians in the Visual Arts (CIVA) is devoted to furthering the pursuit of both serious art and serious faith. CIVA artists are called to creative work, devoted to the church, and present in culture.

Guard Support is a community organization dedicated to assisting families of active duty U.S. National Guard troops through emergency grants, funding for family support groups, and other innovative programs. John Kingston is a member of the Guard Support Board of Directors.

International Arts Movement (IAM) acts as a hub for connecting creative minds from all over the globe to inspire, train, and influence participants to contribute to a healthy culture. The writings and artwork of IAM founder and Sword & Spoon partner Makoto Fujimura provide an inspirational base from which the work of the movement flows, through lecture series, conferences, gatherings, cultural events, and exhibits.

InterVarsity is a Christian, student-led ministry which has been involved in establishing witnessing communities on U.S. college and university campuses for more than 70 years. InterVarsity has almost 1,000 chapters on campuses around the globe.

Leadership Transformations believes that a transformed leader means a transformed organization, and seeks to increase the “attentiveness quotient” within individuals and teams – helping them to become more aware of God’s presence and direction. Jean Kingston is pleased to serve on the LTI Board of Directors.

Pioneer Institute is an independent, non-partisan research organization, which aims to improve the quality of life in Massachusetts through a range of advocacy efforts, including in the area of education reform. John Kingston serves on Pioneer’s Board of Directors.

Veritas Forum hosts university events around the world that engage students and faculty in discussions about life’s hardest questions as well as faith in their lives on campus. John Kingston helped to found Veritas in the early 1990s at Harvard University, and proudly serves on its board of directors.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization working in nearly 100 countries worldwide to tackle the causes of poverty and injustice, serving all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
